Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies typically in the horror and martial arts types. Her style and method are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action movies that have a twisted fascination. Her first review was in 2009, gaining some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus lupa. In the year 2010 she joined the Channel Awesome Family. Beginning in early 2015, she joined the site while Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her debut film. and frequently guest-starred in his show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax live programs in addition to the occasional adult-oriented comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to join the reviewer community. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
